Leo Evans is a professional guide and New Mexico outfitter located in Las Cruces New Mexico. He hunts hikes and lives in this beautiful piece of rugged country year round and specializes in hunting Elk, Mule Deer, Coues Deer, and Antelope on both public and private land. Additional hunts may be arranged for Bighorn Sheep, Oryx, and Varmints. It is his dedication to provide a service that will make your hunt safe, successful, and most important memorable.
Born and raised in southern NM and with 40 years of hunting experience and 30 years of it for elk I feel I can help you pursue the trophy you have been after. I’m not only an outfitter, but I’m also a guide, sharing the same camp and rigors of the hunt that you will be.
Hunting is my life and livelihood and it is my goal as your outfitter and guide to provide for you a wonderful hunting experience and a lasting memory, for that is what hunting is all about. Having worked for many ranchers and outfitters has shown me what hunters really want in a hunt, professionalism and hard work, and that is what we provide here at organ mountain outfitting.
All our hunts are 100% fair chase public and private land hunts in NM and Nebraska. Our New Mexico outfitter & guides are the best in the business and natives of NM. and very knowledgeable of the units we hunt in. Our camps are fully equipped and comfortable (cabins or tents) and sometimes remote and rough depending on the species were after.
Meals are always hot and excellent, so whether its Coues deer, trophy elk, bighorn or a backpack trip into the Gila wilderness for native Gila trout your adventure awaits you with Organ Mountain Outfitting.
